Around the World in 21 Days-Part 22

Another Piece of Paradise at the Four Seasons Bali at Jimbaran Bay

After we landed at the airport in Bali, we were whisked off the plane, and bypassed the customs and immigration areas. We were then loaded on to buses and escorted by police to the Four Seasons Bali at Jimbaran Bay. We felt like celebrities.

I'm now sipping wine in my plunge pool after a long but successful travel day. We left the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney early to accommodate a "fly by" of the famous Ayer's Rock, ( 2 miles long and rising 1260 feet from the scrub), and arrived in Bali in time to clear the air space for a political meeting that is taking place here. The good news is we were in our rooms by 2pm. Here's the link to this fantastic place: http://www.fourseasons.com/jimbaranbay/

This trip is indescribable. We travel from 'heaven' to 'paradise' and back. The resorts are so fantastic that it's difficult to leave on excursions. On the other hand, the excursions are so much fun that I don't want to miss them. I'm not complaining though; I'm one happy, but conflicted girl in Bali. Hey, wasn't there a movie about that?
